Ljulbljiana is the capital town of Slovenia and is allegedly striving to become the capital town of wine, too, as in a little while another event is taking place there.
On Friday, December the 12th Festival Label Grand Karakterre 3 will be hosted in the fascinating castle of Ljubljiana.
This wine festival is dedicated to natural winegrowers, who are coming from Slovenia as well as from overseas to display their products.
Te weird name of this festival is soon explained: natural wines – which are made from organic or biodynamic vineyards, according to traditional methods and without using chemicals or additives – are the barest, bluntest and most sincere expression of terroirs they are made from, and their charactere is stronger and sharper than ever: it’s a karakterre!
